Yep, that’s right – starting some time in June you’re gonna see Charley putting his motorcycle riding skills onto the table – as it were – so tune in and give him some support. Competing alongside 20 other celeb’s Charley’s going to have to dig deep to show that he’s not just ‘all bike’ and no culinary skill… But hey, who knows – he might surprise us all…
Executive Producer for the BBC, Carla-Maria Lawson said: “This year’s series promises some real surprises as our celebrity hopefuls swap stage, screen and catwalk for the kitchen. Be prepared to see a very different side to some well known faces as the competition heats up!”
This year will see 13 programmes air over six weeks. The first four heat weeks will concentrate on whittling down the celebrities, testing their abilities until only the best eight go through to the fifth and semi-final week. The first, 60 minute episode of each heat week will see five new celebrities face the infamous Mystery Box Test before being thrown straight in at the deep end – heading to a professional restaurant kitchen, preparing dishes for paying customers.
Tune in in June and follow the highs, lows and dramas as Charley cooks his way to success – or failure?
